He graduated  with honors in Communication Science at University of Macerata and he got into teaching Italian L2/LS after four years spent abroad (Spain, Ireland, Czech Republic, Portugal and Belgium) working in different fields.

He started his career as a teacher in Pisa with a training course for the DITALS exam at ILM (Istituto Linguistico Mediterraneo).

After working at the Dante Alighieri School in Camerino for nearly a year, he started a new adventure with the school Edulingua in Castelraimondo, where he taught for about 5 years. In 2009 he was awarded a Master Degree in “Didactics of Italian L2/LS from a multicultural perspective” by the University of Macerata, with a thesis on “Changrong and the Great Chinese wall: how to lower the affective filter of Chinese students through a multicultural approach in the L2 classroom” .

He took part in courses on didactics and language facilitation and was awarded a Diploma in Teaching Italian as a foreign language by the Dilit International House of Rome in 2014.

He has planned and developed lessons on culture such as: “History of Italian pop music in the XX century”, “Ciak Italia ‘Belpaese’ of the movies”, “Flavors of the Regions, reasons of the flavors”.

He has been giving lectures to foreign language teachers in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Lebanon, Israel and Italy. His research focuses on semiotic textology in teaching and on the use of poetry/narrative text in Italian L2 teaching. 

He loves teaching and learning and deeply believes in knowledge sharing. He travels whenever he can, but also when he couldn’t.
