Special activities may be added seasonally, such as the Venice Carnival, the Palio di Siena, the Venice Historical Regatta, and many others. Participation in all activities is optional. On days without school-organized events, students are free to travel by train or bus to the beach (70 km away), to the mountains, or to other nearby destinations.
